Biggest lie I was told regarding motherhood: one night, your kid will sleep all night and you'll wake up terrified...WRONG you lying bastards! In my house 16 months later, we still don't sleep...so if this ever happens to me, ill let you know if I woke up terrified or not. My guess is I won't bc when this finally does happen D will be like 15.

Okay... I totally read that wrong the first time- LOL! I just re-read it and realized you were saying the opposite of what I THOUGHT you were saying. Oops! Do'h.
Yay for sleep!!
No, jenn still no sleep :( I should clarify this post.
oh you poor thing! We have been having sleep issues lately too although not to your extent but maybe someday your body will think ok no sleep is good and it wont matter?
:-( boo no sleep.
I can say that at this point, you won't be worried but will probably wake up refreshed, happy and do a cartwheel on the way to get D out of bed. Our first real full night of sleep, I woke up, looked at the clock, said "yes!" and did a fist pump. And I felt like a new woman. I send you love and happy (sleepy) wishes...
Really? Still! Ever since we got them to sleep at 13 months we've been so afraid to stray from the schedule we've alienated half our family. They go to bed at 7pm, no matter where we are. If we are somewhere and dinner starts at 6:30- guess what, we're putting them to bed at 7, no questions asked, I don't care if all the other kids are still up at 11pm. I'm sure at this point we could keep them up later, but I'm too afraid to try it. He'll sleep eventually. Hang in there! And crazy about the wasp! Glad you found that.
