Swine flu...
Yes I'm scared! I don't want Dawson to get this, I'm thinking about taking several days off work, getting my MIL and FIL to take several days and keeping D away from the sitters til this blows over.

What do you do when you're whole world
is crashing down...you pick it up..I guess. Really, that's all you can do.
A tiny recap, or just plain cap b/c I haven't really talked about anything going on here...
A lady very close to me is sick, but she's fighting it, and she's going to do great! We just have to be there for her now. (Most of the people that read this, know who that lady is, but just to protect her identity for those in real life, I'd rather not elaborate on who she is.)
My dog, my poor little Simon, is not feeling well either, in fact, I had to give him some of Dawson's gas drops yesterday...my biggest fear is that it was bloat (something terrible that happens to dogs and kills them, and can only be cured with surgery, which I can't afford right now) Normally, though, bloat kills dogs within hours, and it's been over 24 hours and he's doing great now...feeling much better, and acting more like himself...so I hope he's going to be okay. Daniel and I would be devastated.
I guess my world isn't crashing down, just have some sickness to deal with.
Everything else is great! Dawson is GREAT! He had his 4 month appt the other day and he was 16.10lbs and 26 inches long, so he's growing just like he should be. A friend of mine, found out, yesterday, that she's having a boy...she's very excited. Daniel and I are great, even though we miss being able to sleep in the same bed, since Daniel's on the couch and Dawson is with me (hey we all have to sleep somehow!) Work is great, life is pretty good. And, the best part is, my child is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Check him out in his sunglasses, how cute is he?!?!

Couch to 5k Program!
I've mentioned this a couple of times, but I haven't really detailed it yet...Let me say I'm at the end of week 2 in this 9 week program, and my legs are getting prettier everyday, and my thighs are already slimmer! Not to mention it's great for my heart!
Basically this is a 9 week program that gets you ready to run a 5k in that amount of time...it's a work out, and I think it definitely works! It's already changing my body, and for the first time since high school, I enjoy working out!
Check it out, here!

I did it.
I gave in to peer pressure (okay, actually ivillage envy) and ordered my cloth diapers and I'm making the switch...
As bad as this sounds, I'm mainly doing this b/c they are super cute, and the fact that it helps the environment and saves my baby's bum from chemicals is a plus...oh, that and the fact that I shouldn't have to buy many more disposables!

Very Important To Me.
I was a bit premature, but I was one of the lucky babies. I was able to live, I don't have any negative effects from being born too early, and my mom was able to bring a healthy baby home.
Not all babies are this lucky, and many parents experience the loss of an infant, and that's a pain no parent should ever know.
I'll be walking on 4/25 to support finding a cure and a cause for prematurity. I want all parents to know the joy that I know, and I want all parents to be able to bring home their babies. I never want another parent to have bury a newborn, simply, b/c he or she was born too early.
Please, help me support this cause.

Playroom?
Jenna is making a playroom in her house, and it's becoming shockingly obvious that we are going to NEED a playroom too..my living room has been overtaken by tons of toys and Dawson's things...I'm currently using all of his bedroom space and closet space, so we too are going to be doing a playroom...albeit not as elaborate as Jenna's considering I painted Dr. Seuss for D's nursery...so this one, will be toy boxes, and a treadmill b/c I'm not getting rid of my treadmill. LOL..off to Ikea website to look!

Yeah, I've been busy.
I know I've been a bad blogger, but I've been super busy!
First and foremost, over the last week and half, I've been busting my rear end trying to get in shape. I'm doing the couch to 5k program, and on the off days from that, I'm walking atleast 1.5 miles. I'm about to up that to 2 miles.
I have a reason for all this madness...

I need to be able to wear this come bathing suit season.
