My own fault

So, after bitching about being so tired, I took D to his grandparents, and I came home and slept..for 5 hours...it's now 12:30 am and I'm wide awake...oh well, he's sleeping in his swing, and I'll lay down at some point.

This will never end.

I'm sure of it. The lack of sleep, is endless, this will never end. I'm destined to be up every hour, forever. I have no idea, how in the world, I can go back to work like this. Some morning making it to the sink to brush my teeth is tiring, how will I work 8 hours! What was I thinking?! Babies= no sleep, and I can't function off of no sleep...I'm pretty sure that this is slowly killing me.

my chubby child!

Dawson was 8lbs 12 oz on Tuesday, today he was 9lbs 3 oz...he's definitely eating well :) he's 3 oz shy of being 2 lbs over his birth weight!

Peds Appointment Today

D had a recheck this morning, for his month check up, even though he's only 3 weeks old...whatever..anyway, he's perfect..he's 8lbs 12 oz up 1lb and 3 oz from two weeks ago..and the doc said he looks perfect! He goes back in 5 weeks for shots :( and I don't know how I'll tolerate it so Daniel is going to have to go with me. She did say not to take him out til, get this, MARCH....how in the world can I keep him cooped up til March...but she said this year's RSV season is the worst she's seen in years...and I'm not chancing it...we're now officially home bodies!

My baby is growing :) He's almost out of newborn clothes. My very favorite outfit is "this" close to be too small...but here's a picture of him in it so I can remember how cute he is in it!

and so it begins...

Life is officially back on schedule as of today. Daniel is back at the fire department, and his schedule will be as follows...

Beginning today:

Monday 24 hours
Tuesday 12 hours
Wednesday 24 hours
Thursday 12 hours
Friday 24 hours
Saturday OFF
Sunday 24 hours
Monday OFF
Tuesday 24 hours
Wednesday OFF
Thursday 12 hours
Friday 12 hours
Saturday 12 hours
Sunday OFF

and then it will start all over again.
I'm okay with being the primary care taker, and Daniel's schedule has never really bothered me before, but I'm scared that the time away may put a break in Daniel's relationship with D. I know how much Daniel loves him, and he's been so amazing with him the last two weeks, I just hope that can continue. I don't want Daniel to feel like the inferior parent, and we already have the time issues going against him.

$13,000!

I just looked at my insurance claim for Dawson and it was over 9,000 to hang out at the hospital for a day and a half and almost 3,000 for the doctor to do the catch! What do people without insurance do? I'm double covered, so I can only imagine what it would cost me out of pocket without both insurances.

In other news, Daniel is back at his part time job today, and me and lil D are just hanging out. It's been a very relaxed day. I'd love to get a shower sometime before 6
tonight, but we're playing it by ear.
