Allie: 38 weeks.
So here I am: 36 weeks in the gray, 37 weeks in the blue, and 38 weeks in the black. Last week I thought dropped. This week it looks like she may have moved back up some, but I still say she's dropped mostly. I'm supposed to be checked for dilation on Monday, but I'm still unsure if I'll let that happen. I may still wait til 40 weeks since it really doesn't mean much. I've had several episodes of sorta painful contractions that were in my back and abdomen and probably real contractions just nothing to cause full blown labor by any means. I know my body is just prepping for what's to come. I'm sorta at peace right now with waiting on her. Obviously she'll come when she's ready and if needed there are medical ways to get her here safely. I feel pretty good right now actually. Sleeping better-only getting up 3-4 times to pee instead of every hour and the cramping and hip pain seem to have slowed down. It's been nice. I'm still really looking forward to meeting her, but I'm really enjoying this time with D too. Afterall his whole life is about to change as well.

The number when you check may not matter but the more physical contact against your cervix the faster you will thin and dilate. Hence why sex is encouraged in the end and with twins they only check the cervix by u/s, they don't want to thin things or get the cervix irritated with physical contact. So I'd tell her to check you just for that!
Oh, I didn't know that. Although I can say that sex at 38 weeks is a little more complicated than not :). Who really enjoys being this big and trying to be intimate too?? Anyway, that is a tidbit of info that I didn't know. I'll have to remember that when they ask if I want to be checked or not.
I think you are literally the teeniest full-term preggo I have ever seen! I'm sure you don't feel that way but seriously, your belly is so little and cute!
hahaha thanks Lauren! I don't feel that way at all, but thank you!!
