I'll summarize this article for you. 1st responders are not invited to the memorial on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. It doesn't matter that all of these people lost their friends, brothers, sisters, etc that day. It doesn't matter that those towers coming down killed 343 firefighters and countless others. It doesn't matter that these people risked their lives to save others. It doesn't matter that MANY of them are now living with terrible diseases caused by their heroism. It doesn't matter that many have died from the after affects of saving those lives. Nope, doesn't matter. They can't come to the memorial. Sorry guys. Sorry girls. The most defining moment of your life, you can't remember with the others. This is bullshit.
