11 weeks and 1 day to go.

I had my 28 week appointment today. I'm 28 weeks and 6 days so we squeezed that in just in time. I had my glucose test and I go back in 3 weeks. I just thought I should update how things have been with this pregnancy. Just like with Dawson, things are going textbook perfect. My bp today was 120/76, I've gained 23 pounds so far, and I have no complaints. Things went this smoothly with D so I don't expect any problems to pop up. I felt fine after drinking my sugary drink and anticipate those results to be normal as well. With D I was induced with cervadil only (b/c pitocin wasn't needed after the cervadil) and from the start of contractions to 10cm was 3.5 hours ( I wasn't dilated at all when labor started) and I pushed for 2 hours. The only hiccup was that D was in a diagonal lie with his head basically in my right hip. My wonderful doctor was able to move him enough to be born vaginally but he was posterior as well so 2 hours of pushing was necessary. I can only hope that this labor goes this smoothly. I'm not scared of labor or the pain because I know that it will pass and that epidurals (for me) are WONDERFUL things and an option that I have. I also know at the end of the entire process I'll have a little baby in my arms. Tomorrow I'm 29 weeks. I delivered D at 40 weeks and 1 day, so I could have about 11 weeks to go til we meet this little one. How exciting!
