So long story short, we adopted him, and he's the best behaved dog we have....
and this is him, thinking he's a present.
I took this on my phone, so the quality is bad, but it's sooo sweet. He sleeps there at night sometimes.

Edited to add: did you know that my doctor says that the percentage of first time mom's who's water actually breaks is only 15%?!?! Great! now, how the heck will I know if it's time to go to the hospital or not?! I mean if I go and I'm only a little dilated, they'll send me home, and I'll look like an idiot. If I wait too long, I'll have to deliver in the car....this is too much deciphering...I need a clear cut sign, like two pink lines or something that says, it's time to go!

I heard 12%, but if the control group were my group of friends, it's liek 80%. I guess I just know some leaky girls!
I feel ya, girl! I think my biggest fear is not knowing when I'm in labor and popping this dude out in the car! I know it's the most irrational fear ever, because I'm pretty sure we'll KNOW. But whatever, it's haunting my dreams these days.
don't worry if you go to the hospital and do the "walk of shame" out the door when they send you home. It's happened to almost every pg woman I have known, including myself, and the nurses are very used to it.
:0) if in doubt...head on in to L&D...no worries!
Remember the 4-1-1 rule: Contractions four minutes apart, lasting one minute long and occurring like this for an hour.
Run that by your OB/midwife and see what they say, maybe.
Good luck!
