Physical relationship...

If you'd rather not read about my intimate relationship with my husband click off this page...you've been warned.

Now I think it was pretty obvious in a couple of posts ago that I've been struggling with sex. I haven't been enjoying it.I've literally been forcing it and Daniel knew it. It was rough. Our marriage was truly suffering...well I'm happy to report that I had amazing sex with my husband last night! Seriously that was the first time since probably before I was pregnant with D...so almost 2 years. I forgot how much fun sex could be. It's great! And yes this was with my husband...

I'm glad things are better! I go back and forth - sometimes I can't get enough, and sometimes I can't bring myself to do anything. I have found that a little social lubricant (umm, wine) helps me when I'm having trouble. I know you shouldn't want to get drunk to have sex, but sometimes it helps me remind me what I'm missing.

PS - I think I'm a lurker. I read through googlereader, so I don't honestly know if I've commented before. If not, hi, I'm April! I used to blog but I haven't in quite awhile. Lately I just read. :)

Hi april! You've commented a couple times and I've wondered :) and yes social lubricant used to work wonders, I should try that again!

I agree with April- sometimes that does the trick for me. But I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from too. Since the boys were born it's kind of lacking. Congrats on a great night!

And bless Daniel's heart he couldn't understand that when I was pregnant I was exhausted and after D was born I can't look at the bed without thinking sleep...and Erin, it couldn't have been too lacking given your current situation!
