Just close your eyes and jump...

A Friend and I were discussing me staying home vs. me working. She said, Mandie, just close your eyes and jump. She said there's never a perfect time to quit work, just like there's never a perfect time to have babies. So, should I? I really want to. Part of me wants to give my notice right now. The other part of me says, pay off your debt, and then quit...and I'm going to give up some of our "luxuries" now and start putting money into the emergency fund. I'm pretty excited!

WAIT!!!! I've never mentioned that I have a super awesome boss, but I do...and he's very approachable, and he knows that I've been struggling with this...and so he asked me if in September, when we move to our almost finished new building if I was thinking about going part time...I told him I didn't know that was an option, and he told me that anything was an option, just like working 4 days instead of 5. If it was something I wanted, he'd help make it happen!!!! I'm soooo excited! I can stop all this how to work at home business b/c I can go part time!! Which means I'll have my son with me, more than I don't!! This is AMAZING!

QUIT!!! :)

If you can feasibly do it, it is so worth all the sacrifices!

Wow, you do have a nice boss! Maybe you could go down to part-time and see how you feel, then decide to make the jump. You can ease down on the $ and sink into having more time.

I agree with Chelsea!!!! But...if you decide not to...going part time is fabulous also...I really liked working part time at the pediatric office 3 days a week while my mom kept my girls.

I'm so happy that things are working themselves out for you Mandie! yay!!!

I'm still definitely giving it a lot of thought! Either way, I'll get to spend LOTS MORE TIME with D and that's the most important!

Faith over fear! Have faith that whatever you decide to do will work out.

I think you should go to part time pay off the debt with that and then after that become a SAHM full-time. That way you can get the best of both worlds.

Whatever you decide good luck, being a SAHM is the hardest yet most wonderful job you could ever have.
