Ya'll I know I've been awful about updating my blog. I apologize, but life with a 2 year old is hectic for sure. We are still potty training and it's going well, except sometimes Dawson refuses to get off the potty and other times he tells me to put a diaper on him. So I don't push it, we just flow with whatever he's feeling. I have done some shopping for baby girl (who we will be calling Allie, I just don't know what her legal first name is going to be yet) It's exciting, but overwhelming too. Part of me wants the next few months to crawl by and another part of me wants them to fly by. I feel like getting prepared for baby number 2 is WAY harder than baby number 1 was. But gradually it's coming together.
We spent the last weekend camping and D had a blast. It was also mine and Daniels 5th wedding anniversary. I can't believe how fast 5 years has gone by.
Time really does fly.

I never felt like I was ready when I was pregnant with Connor. Even the day before I went into labor, I was still telling people I wasn't ready. It was all good though, and I can't imagine life without my littlest man now.
BTW - Congrats on the girl! After re-looking at my u/s 100 times I still wonder "were they wrong?!?!?? am i really having a girl??" but you'll get over that initial shock :) i promise! (although my husband the other day asked "what about the circ?" - my response "dummy we're having a girl"). you're gonna be a great mom to both a boy and a girl :)
Really? I feel like getting prepared for this baby is WAY easier then with Jensen when I had NO clue. However I don't know the gender yet so it just might be if we end up with a girl this time lol!
I think Allie is such a cute name! I hope your pregnancy has been easy for you and I know you both are so excited. How far along are you now? Hopefully the morning sickness has given you a break by now?! Happy Anniversary to you and Daniel as well!! Enjoy every minute of this time being a family of 3 :)
