Thank you to everyone who responded to my last blog post about whether or not giving up my “dream job” to go to a part time position is worth it. I have decided that I am going to go part time. I may not take the job that has been offered to me, but I have been looking around and have already had 4 interviews for a part time/prn position. I’m mostly hoping that the PRN position works out, honestly. The hours are completely up to me and I’m only required to work 2 shifts a week. Which means I could work up to 40 hours if I needed to or only 16…..it’s really a GREAT position. I have my second interview tomorrow for this position and we’ll go from there. It’s really been a tough decision, but after weighing all the pros and cons and deciding that time with my little guy is the most important thing, the decision was made. My husband is being super supportive and I’m just waiting until I actually take a position before I turn in my notice….once it’s done it’s done and honestly, I cannot wait!!
In other news, here are a couple cell phone pics of D from yesterday. The two cow costumes are from getting dressed for Boo in the Zoo and the one with the puppies is from my mom’s house.

Congratulations on making that decision, Mandie! I hope it brings you tons of happines. :) Oh and D is ADORABLE!!! He has changed so much and his hair has gotten a lot darker! What a handsome little guy. I looove the pic with the puppies.
Thanks Nicole!! Isn't it amazing how they change? His hair is definitely getting darker like mine and his dad's, but what kills me? His eyes are still ice blue....and neither of us have blue eyes...I'm kinda hoping they stay blue...and Little Ms. Abby has certainly grown up too!! I can't believe they are almost 2! It blows my mind to think they've come so far since December 2008.
I am so excited for you!! I only wish I could do the same :(. I know you will absolutely enjoy having that time with him. They are after all only small once right? Just think in about 3 years or so they will be in school and we will only have the summers with them so enjoy him while you can!!
That's awesome and you will be happier spending that time you want/need with him. And oh man has he grown!
He is SO cute!! I love reading about your family and keeping up with you!
I am so happy you made a decision! It must be a huge sigh of relief knowing you made one AND realizing you get way more D time! I am happy for you :0) And yes boy has he grown!!! What an adorable cow he makes. It is amazing what 2 short years will do huh?!
